Devils den knows how to do it right! The perfect blend of community and fun and beer and food!
They host a lot of events, like the one I went to on Tuesday night that was sponsored by Fat Heads Brewery! The whole bar played bingo together and it was way more fun than I thought I was going to be! They all have an open mic night!
My friend ordered the Bumble Berry Fat Heads bottle and I ordered the Kurant Earth Cidre. Both were absolutely spectacular! That fat heads beer is highly recommended!
We also ordered a appetizer to share of their wings with extra celery! We added ranch on the side. They were actually pretty darn good! And a perfect temperature!
I also tasted the chicken wrapped in bacon and that was out of this world! The balsamic glaze to dip it in makes the entire dish!
Parking is really terrible and took us about 20 minutes. Our waitress wasn't the most friendly person in the entire world either. However overall, it was a great experience and I'll definitely be back! -

Hi, I am writing this review because of what happened to my girlfriend. We went to have a nice dinner and enjoy a couple of beers. It started out very nice the waiter was good. Then it all went down hill after the appetizer came. The food was not that good but everybody has different taste. Then when my girlfriend order her second beer and she was drinking it she noticed that it had a sour taste and flat. We looked on the bottle and the date was from 8/2017. You are reading it correctly. We tell the waiter what happened and he said that he will take care of it. I don't know if he ever told management but if he did nobody ever came out to find out if she was ok. I don't know who is responsible for this but they are not doing the job they should be doing
Just like to follow up on what I wrote. I just hung up with the owner of the restaurant and told her everything that happened. She said that nothing was reported to her but will look into. From the way she sounded to me was that she had no concern about anything that happened. -

This is my favorite bar in South Philly. Honestly quite possibly my favorite in Philly at large? But anyway. Their happy hour is awesome, it's half off all drafts and then they have a lil food menu of dishes for $4-6. The bacon-wrapped chicken skewers are a fav (#keto), but their pretzel buns, pigs in a blanket, and quesadillas are also great. Non-happy hour menu, but they had a pulled pork reuben which was stupid good, as well as fried brussel sprouts which were delish and made me ~feel~ healthy, you know? Even though they were deep-fried lol. They always have cool, different, delicious ciders on tap, too, which is lovely for something new every once in a while. The bartenders are also my favorite thing about this place, as well as the barback who's here all the time. It's like I just wish I was cool enough for them to know me, but I think I still have some work to do.

I went here with a couple of my friends for the first eagles game. It's a cute pub right off of broad in a quiet part of south Philly, and has a cute outside area! There is a bar inside, and food seating area as well, with TVs for everyone to see. The staff was incredibly sweet, and was cracking jokes with us all night! Their drink selection was pretty good, and not too expensive for Philly prices. I had the buffalo falafel bites and Brussels sprouts with Thai sauce. IT WAS AMAZING!!!! The buffalo bites were out of this world, for a vegetarian, I was in heaven! The Brussels sprouts were even better, super crispy, and the sauce is amazing! My friend ordered the muscles, and I had some, and they were to die for! The prices of the food is my bad at all, and I would totally recommend coming here with friends and getting some drinks and food!
